Ce week-end, avait lieu une soirée sur une île d'InfoIsland. Il y avait une présentation de livres et diverses animations musicales.



Sur ImaginationIsland (île de sections jeunesse) avait lieu vendredi une autre soirée déguisée cette fois, avec musique, danses, chasse au trésor, vote pour le meilleur livre de conte. Quelques images de ces soirées sont disponibles sur un set Flickr dédié à ce genre d'animations et aux événements organisés par les collègues bibliothécaires de Second Life.

D'autres animations sont prévues ce mois-ci :

  • des lectures de romans (A Thousand Splendid Suns by Kahled Hosseini) animées par le Virtual Book Group, vendredi 14
  • Des discussions autour du Seigneurs des Anneaux de JRR Tolkien les mardi 18 et samedi 22 septembre
  • Une exposition de Nano Ashby au Sci-Fi Portal
  • Une soirée dansante sur le thème de la rentrée sportive le samedi 14
  • Des étudiants en bibliothéconomie, enfin, proposent des cours sur le croisement entre les mondes des bibliothèques et SecondLife

The Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Alliance Library System of Illinois are pleased to offer two different six week online (in Second Life) courses to introduce you to libraries and information services in a virtual world. These are non-credit courses, but continuing professional education units (CEU and CPDU) are available upon request.

INTRODUCTION TO VIRTUAL WORLD LIBRARIANSHIP (3 sections available)
